2013: New Year's Resolution

I am not suppose to share my new year's resolution.

But, something that I hope can be done this year is to write something in this blog at least once a week.

For a start, something that I learnt from a friend today. He is in the sand mining business. He is complaining about the inefficiencies of the government officer who deals with the issuance of "docket" to the miners. As sand mining business relies on having enough docket so that they can sell sands, he told me that the officers from Pejabat Tanah is not able to issue the docket. Why? No apparent reason. Although the operators are willing to pay for the docket, the Land office is not able to issue not until the next two weeks.

Talking about business. I think the officers are not doing the business. They are losing income for the state.

Let me not mention the state. But if it is true, then the state must take some drastic action. Only through some seriousness probably the officers will act like businessman, making sure that money will be generated for the state.
